Career entry

Your first internship, your first part-time job: everything adds to your work experience until you finally apply for your first permanent position or start your own business. Therefore: plan your career entry right from the start of your studies!

We offer lectures, workshops and talks by and with experts so that you are informed, can take planned steps and gradually professionalize yourself as a career starter. Of course, our program is designed to meet the special information needs of international and migrant students.

We provide offers in the following areas:

Job market & Job search

The job market and the job search process in Germany differ from those in other countries. For example, there is a large "hidden job market" in Germany. This means that not all vacancies are advertised, but many are filled through contacts and networks.
These workshops and lectures will give you an insight into the standards and pelicularities of the German job market. If you know how the German job market works and how and where you can look for jobs, your chances of a successful job search will increase! You will also receive information on residence rights so that you know how you can stay in Germany after your graduation.

Would you like to apply for a part-time job, an internship or your first permanent position after graduation? Then you're probably wondering how you can design your application so that it is read by recruiters and doesn't just end up in the trash.
In these workshops, you will learn how to create the perfect application documents and prepare yourself for the application process: from the CV and cover letter, which are tailored to a specific position, to interview training and networking strategies. Because the right application strategy is the door opener to your career entry!

Female Career Trainings

Have you ever been annoyed during your studies that your voice is drowned out and you hardly get a chance to speak? Especially in technical courses, the proportion of men is often very high and if you already find it difficult to express your opinion or present your idea during your studies, you may wonder how this will work out later in your job.
Women are often more reserved than men in the application process and at work and have difficulties "selling themselves and their ideas well". In these workshops, women learn how to plan their career, present themselves confidently and achieve their (professional) goals.
Note: These offers are aimed exclusively at women and people who identify as women.

Self-presentation

Do you know your strengths? Do you know which area you would like to work in and how you can present yourself well in the application process? Employers not only expect good specialist knowledge, but also want to get to know you as a person.
In these workshops, you can find out more about your career aspirations and learn methods to identify your strengths. You will also boost your self-confidence so that you can present yourself successfully and confidently in salary negotiations. After all, the better you market yourself, the better are your chances of starting your career quickly and successfully!
