You've probably seen a few job descriptions where you thought: "Wow, this is the perfect job for me", and then asked yourself: How can I prove that I'm a good fit for the job? What do companies in Germany expect from me in a cover letter? (Especially since a cover letter is not necessarily required for applications in other countries).

In this interactive workshop, you will use a simple step-by-step guide to write a targeted cover letter. We'll also cover how you can use AI like ChatGPT to help you create cover letters and what you need to do to get the best results.

Please bring a job description to the event you would like to apply for!


Objectives: You will learn how to analyze your own job advertisements and deduce what content you should include in your application documents. You will formulate individual paragraphs of the cover letter during the workshop so that you have a finished raw version at the end and can use it directly for your applications.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly finding its way into our working world. It is therefore essential to familiarize yourself with the possibilities and opportunities that these technologies offer - especially in the application process.

This two-part workshop aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge to effectively use AI tools such as ChatGPT for job search, application writing and interview preparation. It will highlight ways in which these technologies can revolutionize and, most importantly, simplify the application process.


Objectives: You will develop an understanding of the use of AI tools in the modern application process on the part of employers and learn strategies for using AI in your job search. Specifically, you will learn how to use ChatGPT and similar technologies to optimize CVs and cover letters and how to use AI to prepare for job interviews, including salary negotiations. This will help you recognize the do's and don'ts of using AI in the application process.
