Scholarships &
Support offers
Studying in Germany offers many opportunities - but also challenges, especially when it comes to financing internships or stays abroad. Scholarships can be a great help here: they not only ease the financial burden, but also demonstrate commitment, motivation and determination - qualities that stand out positively on your CV when applying for jobs later on.
Important to know: Scholarships are not just for straight-A candidates! Many funding programs do not only look at grades, but also at social commitment, personal life paths, motivation and special circumstances. That's why it's almost always worth applying.
Applicants should pay close attention to the relevant requirements and deadlines. A convincing and personal application - with a well-formulated letter of motivation - is often crucial. On our website you will not only find suitable scholarship offers, but also helpful tips for a successful application.

Tips for applying for a scholarship
The most important part of every scholarship application is the letter of motivation. This gives the selection committee a first personal impression of you. You should therefore catch their attention and make a positive impression.
The most important tips are:
- no longer than one page,
- Structure like a letter (with address & sender),
- be sure to adapt the letter individually to the scholarship!
Content structure:
- Brief introduction: What subject are you studying and at which university? What is interesting to know about you?
- Fit: Why are you a good fit for this particular foundation or scholarship? Be as specific as possible.
- Motivation: Why are you applying for the scholarship? How would it help you? What does the scholarship mean to you?
- Conclusion: Write that you are available for further questions and that you are happy to be invited to an interview or the next round.
