Meet the challenges of the skills shortage with us

Our specialists of tomorrow: international and intercultural

As internationally positioned universities, we are increasingly attracting international talent to our degree programmes in order to successfully counteract demographic change. Their proportion in STEM subjects is now up to 40%. In addition, there is a growing number of students from a migrant background.

We see these students as highly qualified and committed, adaptable and multicultural. And together with you, we want to offer them attractive career prospects to keep them in the Rhein-Main region in the long term.

Our offer for you

You can support us in professionalising and career building measures and by providing inshights to the job market and start-ups.

Whether alumnus/alumna, employer or specialist: We value expertise that opens doors to the working work and the start-up ecosystem in the Rhein-Main region to our students and introduces them to the rules of the game.

We offer you a platformum on which to advocate for your topic, from "Employer SME" to "Future of work"

- With direct access to students at Goethe University Frankfurt, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule RheinMain and Technical University of Darmstadt, employers in particular benefit from this unique opportunity for their recruitment marketing.

How you can get involved
  • Career talk: As a guest speaker, give tips on starting a career based on predefined topics such as application, probation period or networking.
  • Mentoring: Accompany students individually and build up relationships with potential junior staff at an early stage.
  • Startup podcast: Share your success story and establish yourself as an innovative and future-oriented company.
  • Video interview: Motivate students with an insight into your career to date in a short video.

"We see Hessian universities as important players in overcoming the shortage of skilled workers. With the approved pilot project, we are strengthening our commitment to tapping into international potential while making a contribution to fair educational opportunities. We want to inspire talent from all over the world for the Rhein-Main region. At the same time, we want to understand how we can support students with an international or intercultural background even better to ensure their successful transition into professional life - and to have them stay with us in Hesse."
